We have spent a lot of time this week talking with the pupils about our new Anti-Bullying Charter. Pupils had the opportunity to talk about bullying behaviours and what should be done if they experience or witness them. They all agreed that they wanted everyone in our school to feel safe and signed their name to a very clear plan. A copy of the Charter is kept in every classroom so the children can refer to it.
The School Council did an amazing job today, organising a Cake Sale and judging Talents for the show in March. The money raised from the Cake Sale will be used to buy a popcorn machine, which all the classes will be able to use on their Pasta Point treat days. Thank you to everyone who made cakes. If you missed it this time, we’ll be calling on your cake baking skills on Friday 2nd March for refreshments at the show.
Many children have been experiencing high temperatures, tummy aches, nausea, coughs and headaches. The Healthier Together NHS website for Dorset https://what0-18.nhs.uk has useful information about when to take your child to the doctors and how long to keep them off school. I hope that we are through the worst of it. There were more pupils looking a lot better in school today!
Several items of clothing have gone missing and in some cases whole PE kits. Please could you check the uniform you have at home over the weekend and return any items that belong to other children on Monday. Please ensure all uniform is labelled.
Also, it is important to keep our records up to date if you have changed any of your contact details please let us know.
