Another fun filled week at St Martin’s! The trip to Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World, with the whole school, was a St Martin’s first and was incredibly successful. Thank you, SMART PTA, for spending the funds on such a fun day out for the children and to the parents who came along to help. I heard lots of children saying it was the, “BEST TRIP EVER!”
We also had a whole school keep fit session on Tuesday, led online by Joe Wicks (Body Coach). The Year 6’s and Mrs Male were brilliant motivators and helped to demonstrate the exercises.
I have attached the most recent information from John Lewis and Star Soccer. You now have the opportunity to buy the old uniform at reduced prices (which will be accepted until September 2018) or the new uniform from PMG Schoolwear (shops in Poole and New Milton or online). When ordering on the PMG website it may say that some items are not in stock, as they are making them specifically for us. If you continue with the order, they will get the items made up and sent to you.
After Easter, children need to wear summer uniform. Girls in blue striped summer dresses with white socks (not tights), jumper and blazer. Boys in grey shorts, short sleeved blue shirts, grey socks, jumper and blazer. Please make sure all items of clothing are labelled. They either need to be wearing the old or new uniform for PE, there should now be enough shorts, skorts and hoodies available.
There are still places available for the Thursday Science Club. I had originally offered places to Year 2-4, but will now accept children from Year 1-6. The Science Zone, which is based in the Royal Arcade in Boscombe will be running the club with lots of exciting experiments. Please return the completed slip and money on Monday if you would like to sign up.
Remember to drop children off at Talbot Heath School on Monday morning 8:45am for a dress rehearsal.
Finally have a great Easter, this is the last newsletter of the term. 2 down, 1 to go!
